Coming hot with a new track list and unique sound is 21-year-old, YVNCC, (Pronounced Yunk) based out of California. His project Club Rufus mixes up tempo dance music with his low toned vocals to create a hybrid sound that is meant for big speakers and subwoofers. 

Thematically, the Club Rufus project takes place inside the club with the title character, Rufus. Rufus, according to YVNCC, represents, “An alternate personality. He is the hedonistic party animal persona that I take on when I'm out with friends. Similar to an imaginary character.”

YVNCC juxtaposes the caricature of Rufus with a vocal performance that compels the listener to turn up and party like you are Rufus himself. The tracks “Buy you a drink,” and “Go Rufus” are key for listeners looking for that upbeat hyphy sound.
